Platanus orientalis digitata

A deciduous tree from south-eastern Asia has a large trunk with attractive, mottled, brown, grey, and greenish bark. Bright to dark green leaves are palmately lobed, with 5 distinct pointed lobes. Leaves are similar to the London Plane with cuts half way in from the edge, decreasing the surface area of each leaf. A hardy tree that will tolerate, poor soil and dry periods once established.
