Product Description

This evergreen shrub has a multi-stem habit, which suit individual, or hedge plantings.  The leaves are simple, smooth, non-hairy, with vivid red new growth.  Flowers are small, mostly white, with 5 petals producing dense flattish pinnacles at the end of the stems.  Mainly used for the new growth colour, the Red Robin with maturity will produce a brilliant red hedge.  Fairly adaptable shrub that suits most soil types but does prefer well drained fertile soil in a sunny position.  Prune to promote dense growth.
